The Insurance Industry is facing a real challenge these days and that too from various directions. On one hand, the saturation of the insurance market is pushing insurance companies to innovate their traditional products and bring them to the market as soon as possible so as to have a winning edge over competitors. Speaker Profiles:

Arindam Sarkar works as Project Manager with L&T Infotech, and has more than 18 years of experience. He has more than 8 years of experience in Software Testing. He has over 10 years of domain expertise in Insurance and has undertaken various responsibilities in different capacities in Life Insurance Corporation of India. He has worked earlier with Satyam Computers and Veritest. He was one of the key members of Satyam's Microsoft ODC at Hyderabad.

Arindam currently manages the Life Insurance practice at L&T Infotech, leading and managing a team of 15 Business Analysts and Domain Experts. In his current role, Arindam is also associated with various marketing and sales initiatives taken up by the organization. His responsibilities include communicating with various clients and prospects, understanding their pain areas & challenges and architecting the solution for them. He is also involved in designing POCs and Solution Accelerators beneficial to Insurance Industry. In his prior assignment, Arindam was managing a team of 40 testers for a key engagement with a leading global Insurance intermediary.

Arindam graduated in Science from University of Calcutta and holds a Diploma in Computer Application from British Institutes, Kolkata.

Gaurav Oberoi works as a Module Lead with L&T Infotech. He has more than 4 years of experience in Software Testing. He has authored a number of white papers, those have been presented at an organization level and in external conferences.

Gaurav currently works as Automation Engineer and Module Lead for a Software Testing project of an Insurance Intermediary.

Gaurav has worked extensively on manual as well as automation testing projects. He has also worked on developing key word driven frameworks, which are automation tool independent. Gaurav has thorough knowledge of Test Automation frameworks developed by L&T Infotech and he has implemented the test automation framework for functional testing in a number of projects. Gaurav also provides consultancy services to various projects within the Organization for implementing Key Word driven frameworks.

Rimjhim Oberoi has over 4 years of professional experience in diverse fields, and has been working with L&T Infotech since last 2 years.Currently a Lead for a Compliance project of an Insurance Intermediary, she leads a team of Java developers and also tests the different aspects of Project. She has taken up quite a few BA activities in her project and is a crucial member of the team.

Rimjhim has also worked as an Oracle developer in the past. She was associated to ICICI Bank for more than 2 years as an Officer and has got a good understanding of the Banking domain.

Rimjhim has completed her B.E. in IT from Agra University. She is ISTQB & INS 21 certified.

Rimjhim has been contributing to a lot of initiatives taken up by the Organization. Her achievements include various awards received during her tenure with L&T Infotech. She has received a number of client appreciations.
