Kannan has a total work experience of 18 years in the field of IT Architecture, Infrastructure Management, Business Intelligence Solutions and Information Security Management. He brings with him an all round awareness on computing, networking and communication technology landscape including applicable industry standards. With substantial Architecture and System Integration experience, he has predominantly consulted in the Telecom, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors in India and abroad. He had been consulting as VLDB Architect to evolve data warehousing, mining and Knowledge Management solutions for customer service oriented organizations. In his earlier capacity, he has headed the data centers for both Verizon and Citibank He is a Certified Information Security Manager from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

Kannan is a Principal Consultant with Maveric and heads the performance testing service offering and risk management verification, where he leads multiple projects across performance benchmarking, data center management, IT security policies and risk mitigation.  He has developed a framework for a holistic performance management that encompasses overall capacity planning, infrastructure rightsizing, measuring network bandwidth and performance impact analysis on a continuous basis.
