  • One single Integrated execution and test management environment for commonly used QA tools in the organization at different QA phases
  • Integrate tools using Open API’s
  • Drive Standardization across the organization
Problem Statement:
  1. QA Teams use different tools/methods for testing different requirements ex: Manual testing, QTP, FitNesse, Jmeter, SOAtest, Selenium etc..
  2. QA’s would be using different Testing engines, repositories, defect tracking systems.
So how does IT develop a standard framework for Quality Assurance?

Approach:
  1. Develop creation, execution, defect analysis capabilities within one single Test Management System
  2. Use Open Test Architecture Model to develop plug-ins for different test engines, defect tracking tools.

While Business Process Testing as a concept has been around for a couple of years, it is only now that it has come of age. The business process approach provides a natural fit with the requirements of today and tomorrow - SOA testing, Packaged applications testing etc.

In this session we will look at how the business process approach provides the much needed boost to testing productivity and accelerates the testing process in today's time-restricted delivery cycles. We will also delve into how traditional testing methodologies can evolve into a business process testing approach within an organization.

Creating a High-Performing Performance Test Organization

Testing and tuning the performance of today’s applications is a complex task, undertaken by a team of individuals that may include performance engineers, QA testers, architects, developers, database administrators, line-of-business executives and related project team members. Performance testing has been around for a long time, yet poorly-performing applications remain the rule rather than the exception.
