Gone are the days when Products were developed for English language and I18n testing was formed (on need basis) after Product release and mostly misunderstood with L10n testing.he Internet enables new products and technologies to reach the far corners of the world at he same time. Web based services and products need to be internationalized irrespective of calization of the product in order to be ready for an exploding global market where nglish is not the primary language of communication. The future is not too faraway when 18n testing will be merged with normal testing and it will become part of the DNA of oftware testers. All of us in the software testing industry must be aware of the challenges nvolved in testing a product or service for internationalization and subsequently ocalization.
