STeP-IN Forum Technical Review Committee Formation:

The Technical review Committee for each event is formed based on the nominations received from the industry 6 months before the event.

Final selection of the Technical review committee is made based on discussions with the core committee team and the Technical Review Head keeping in mind the below parameters:

1. Number of years of experience and areas of expertize
2. Areas of expertise that are expected to receive large number of submissions
3. Fair representation to more number of organizations

Role of Technical Review members:

Technical Review members are technical experts who will review the submissions received for solidity of content, relevance and application in the present day scenario and innovativeness of ideas presented.

Technical reviewer members will provide feedback on the papers reviewed wrt the parameters above, as well as others that may be set at the introductory tech review meeting for each event.

Prerequisites to be a Tech Review Member:

1. Number of years of experience (12+ years of experience with QA Management OR Hands on technical experience of 5-10 years in areas like Performance Testing, Application security testing, testing of mobile apps , domain expertise

2. The person shall be observant, creative, innovative, speculative, patient, and gentle to handle the review process.
3. Shall provide specialty expertise to Software industry Test practitioners (speakers for the event) and to support the vision of STeP-IN Forum.
4. Shall have keen interest in reviewing and providing positive suggestions.

Responsibility of Review member:

1. Shall review set of papers received for the event
2. Shall ensure that papers selected are in accordance with the underlying theme of the conference
3. Technical Review Member is a periodic activity from October to January annually (for the SUMMITS) and from June to August (for the Hyderabad Testing conference). The role requires extensive interaction during the months mentioned for each event.
4. Two members shall be paired and each will individually review papers. Review comments shall be consolidated with the team member for further proceedings.
5. Shall participate in the t-cons with the speaker to shortlist further.
