This half day tutorial takes you through the various parameters involved in software testing, methodologies that can be adopted to arrive at the effort estimation and the use of critical data, right from the inception to the delivery.
Estimation techniques have to account for Test case generation, preparation, execution and result analysis. The tutorial will delve on the details of how to project the effort estimation on each of these areas apart from other areas like resource availability, planning and test bed creation. The tutorial will also walk through tools like worksheets that would help in arriving at a near to real estimation.
