Abstract

Global testing services outsourcing is a prominent market and is increasing year dynamically, proportionate to IT services outsourcing.

Due to various complex scenarios, the industry testing demands are increasing constantly. These demands can be classified under business, technology, time line and global vendor perspectives. There are many unanswered questions with the customers where they expect response from vendors with solutions. On the other side, vendors have their own pressures for solution and servicing the demands. Sometime, vendors have the solution but cannot service with the price offered by customers or sometimes customers have a budget but vendors do not have a solution.

Few customers still do not realize the importance of independent testing where lot of awareness is needed to convert it into business. Can vendors take proactive steps to educate customers for unpredictable business? Few customers realize this, but do not have sufficient budgets to accomplish this. Is there any innovative way vendors can extend services within the budget of customers?

Technology complexity, complicated business process, rapid change in technology, business rules and time to market, are other areas of the customers. There is a direct reflection on the vendors and their business strategies.

The presentation on the topic ‘ Industry testing demands and vendor preparedness’ focuses on demands of the industry, questions to industry and how vendors are prepared to convert it to business.
